Like all the best things in life, The Wild Hare started with a love story and of course, compromise. Over a decade ago, our wife and husband founders Sarah and Dariush Moslemi had very different palates, Sarah with her background in yoga loving gluten free foods, vegan and vegetarian eating, and Dariush with a background in restaurants gravitating towards dive bars and fried snacks, The Wild Hare concept was planted.

We came to Stillwater for the snow sculptures, then looked for lunch. They had us with gluten-free onion rings. Next time, we'll happily drive 35 minutes for the food! Everything was great. We seriously over-ordered. A great find!
LOVE this restaurant. It is fairly small, although there is patio seating along Main Street in the summer. The size gives it a very cozy feeling. Good music playing in the background, excellent service and every meal we have had there has been delicious! Highly recommend for anyone that enjoys a great meal in a cool and unique atmosphere.
SO happy we stopped here during a weekend staycation in Stillwater. The food and drinks were packed with flavor. Service was attentive but not overly so. Many vegetarian and vegan options to pick and choose from. I had the Mediterranean Bowl with tofu and the spices complemented each other well. Highly recommend ordering one of their juices too. It'll make you want to buy a juicer for home.
Absolutely delicious food and cocktails! The Wild Hare is definitely a hidden gem in Stillwater. The food was hot and fresh, and our waitress was incredibly friendly. I would say the Korean BBQ bowl with chicken was one of the most flavorful dishes I've had in awhile. SO good! I can't wait to come back!
Love it! The menu is fresh and the food is great! Got the shakshuka which was delicious. The 90s theme and music creates a fun ambiance. Only thing that's annoying is that the place is a bit small which means it's always packed since it's so popular.
